FAQ

1. How much baggage can I carry on the flight? 
Baggage Allowance on International Flights vary with the airline, sector/destination, frequent flyer membership and other factors. Kindly call our customer service to know more about on check-in baggage and Hand Baggage.
2. How can I cancel my flight tickets?
You can cancel your ticket(s) by speaking to our Customer service officer on 201-210-5460. Please review the cancellation penalty and refund amount before you confirm to cancel the booking.
3. What documents do I need to carry to check-in for my flight? Do I have to carry the credit card that was used for making the payment?
It is mandatory to carry a government issued photo identification (ID) proof along with the E-Ticket copy. The same is verified by the airport security as well as the airline at the check in counter. On presenting your photo ID proof and E-Ticket copy, your boarding pass will be issued. For international flights, your passport is the only valid photo ID proof that will be accepted.
In case of an infant travelling, it is mandatory to carry the birth certificate of the infant along with the ticket.
It is not mandatory to carry the credit/debit card that was used to make the payment at the time of the booking, if you have booked through cheapfares2india.(we do not pass on your account details to the airline).
4. How can I change the date of my flight booking?
Date Change may be permissible on your booking on payment of Airline Date Change Fee, Cheapfares2india Service Charges plus any fare difference that may exist between your original fare and the fare of the flight that you want to change to. In several cases, the date change fees and the cancellation fees levied by the airline is the same. Please note that date change may not be permitted on certain tickets as per the airline policy.
You would need to get in touch with our Customer Care helpline to do any change of flights in your booking.
If you want to change your flight to a flight that is operated by another airline, you will need to cancel your existing booking and make a fresh booking.
5. I have booked my flight tickets. By when will I get my E-Ticket?
The E-Ticket is emailed to the email address given at the time of booking within 60 minutes of the time of booking and receipt of payment.
6. What are the different mode of payments you accept?
We accept all Visas, MasterCard and American Express credit cards, as well as Net Banking payments, direct deposit and Check Payments based on the departure date.
7. What are the UDF charges from Mumbai/Delhi?( Only applicable if the travel is Originating from India )
As per DGCA regulation, a User Development Fee (UDF) shall be levied for all Domestic and International passengers departing from Mumbai International Airport effective 1 May 2012. This will be directly payable at the airline counter at the airport. This fee is applicable for tickets purchased before 30 Apr 2012.
The applicable UDF is:-
Domestic Departures - Rs. 113 per embarkation.
International Departures - Rs 675 per embarkation.
UDF charges are also applicable if flying out of Delhi, both for Domestic and International sectors.
8. Can I reserve a particular seat?
Yes, in most instances, you can reserve a particular seat, as long as it is available.
  Not all flights have the option of online seat assignment.
  Policies on advanced seating vary by airline.  Some airlines assign seats immediately, others may only assign seats 90 days before the flight, and several airlines wait to assign seats until the day of the flight.
For special seat assignments, such as seats for travelers with special needs, please call the airline directly. Special seat requests may override frequent flyer and full price, unrestricted fare premium seating requests.
9. What happens if I am not carrying a copy of my E-Ticket to the airport?
If you fail to carry a printout of your E-Ticket, you will need to go to the airline counter at the airport and request for an E-Ticket copy by providing the PNR number of your reservation. The PNR number (You can find this unique number on the top of your E-ticket page issued by Cheapfares2india).
10. How do I get a boarding pass for my flight?
For international flights, the boarding pass will be issued after producing your original passport along with a valid Flight Ticket.
International travel requires check-in three hours prior to departure. Check with the airline you are travelling on.
You may want to allow more time if you're travelling out of a major airport during peak periods.
Major airlines may offer check-in via E-Ticket kiosks or curb-side.
Each airline has its own regulations and we highly advise that you check with the airline you are travelling on for the required advance check-in time.
11. I am travelling with an infant. Is there anything special I need to know?
Babies between the ages of 0 to 2 years are considered to be an infant.
Infants are not allocated separate seats.
For an infant ticket, it is mandatory to carry the birth certificate of the infant along with the ticket.
12. Why do you need my passport details?
Certain airlines have made it mandatory to feed passport details of a passenger in the reservation. That is why we require the customer to furnish us the passport details at the time of reservation.
13. Do I need to reconfirm my flight? 
For domestic airlines, you need not reconfirm your flights. Some international airlines do require passengers to call and reconfirm their flights a certain number of days/hours prior to departure. In this case, if the airline does not receive reconfirmation from the passenger, the reservation may be cancelled.
If you are travelling on an airline that requires reconfirmation, we recommend that you call the airline to find out how far in advance you must reconfirm and any other applicable requirements the airline might have. It is usually 72 hours before departure. We also strongly recommend that you reconfirm your flight's departure time and terminal at least 24 hours before departure. This is to ensure that you are aware of your current schedule as airlines do sometimes change flight numbers, departure / arrival times, as well as terminal. Reconfirmation is done by calling the airlines directly. We will not be liable if your flights were cancelled by the airlines due to failure to reconfirm.
14. What is an e-Ticket? 
An e-Ticket is a paperless electronic document with a unique confirmation number given to passengers in place of a paper ticket. Passengers are required to produce the unique confirmation number at the airport airline counter to claim the e-Ticket.
15. How will I get my e-Ticket details? 
Your e-Ticket details will be sent to your email address provided by you at the time of making the payment for your booking. In case you do not have an email address, the details will be given to you over the phone.
